Stephanie Schmidt is one of the best volleyball players to ever don a Knights uniform. She was named the Northeast Conference's newcomer of the year and was selected to the All-NEC First Team following her junior and senior seasons (1997, 1998). She was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Bucknell and Lehigh Invitationals. Schmidt led the Knights to two second place tournament finishes in her last three seasons. Following her senior year she was selected as Team MVP and receive Dean's List academic honors.

Player Statistics:

Schmidt holds the career record for kills with 1,271. She is also 2nd in career service aces with 188 and 4th in career digs with 1,349. In 1995, Schmidt recorded 356 kills and was the team leader her junior year with 442 digs and 80 service aces. In 1997 and '98 she recorded 327 and 337 kills respectively.
