Adrian Chirici was a four-year letter winner for the Knights from 1987-91.  He had a big freshman campaign that saw him compile an overall record of 16-6 in singles, including a runner-up finish in the “Flight A” division at the ECAC Metro Conference Championship.  He also posted a record of 11-7 in doubles that season.  During his career as a Knight, Chirici was able to break through in the “Flight A” division and win back-to-back NEC titles in 1989 and 1990. During his senior year, he was once again runner-up in “Flight A.”  The Knights won the conference three times during Chirici’s tenure.  A consummate student-athlete, Chirici was a two-time NEC Scholar Athletic Award recipient, earning the honor in both the 1989-90 and the 1990-91 seasons.
