Coached by Hall of Famer Dick Holub, the 1951-52 Men's Basketball Team posted an overall record of 22-4 and a New Jersey Intercollegiate Athletic Conference record of 7-1. The Knights posted a perfect 12-0 record at home and ended the regular-season the winners of 15-straight games leading them into the NJIAC Playoffs. In the NJIAC game, FDU defeated Montclair State, 85-76, and advanced to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics District 31 Playoffs. FDU beat the University of Buffalo, 63-55, in the first game and St. Peter's College, 69-50, in the second contest to advance to the next round where the Knights were defeated by Indiana State, 79-72, in Kansas City, Missouri to end the season.
