Bruce Neville is considered by many to be one of the best athletes to ever play at Fairleigh Dickinson, and he is the first member of both the lacrosse and football teams to be selected for induction into the Hall of Fame.  Neville played lacrosse for three years (1973-75) for the Knights and ranked among the Top 10 in the country in scoring each of his years on the team.  Neville was a three-time, unanimous, all-conference selection and is the all-time leading scorer in school history.  Besides playing lacrosse, Neville captained the football team and led the team in tackles as a defensive lineman during a season.  He signed a free agent contract to play professionally with the New York Giants after also being sought by the Dallas Cowboys.
