FDU Knights Athletics

1995 graduate Shane DeGannes won a program-record six NEC titles during as an indoor track performer. The two-time indoor NEC Most Outstanding Performer was a three-time champion in the 800m ('91, '93, '95), a two-time conference champion in the 1500m ('93, '95) and an NCAA qualifier in the 800m in his senior season. DeGannes finished second all-time in outdoor track and field with three NEC titles under his belt, winning the league crown in the 800m twice ('92, '93) and once in the 1500m ('93) in the elements.
