    Men's Soccer Coach
Ben Stravato coached the Knights for 12 seasons, from 1978-89, finishing his career as the all-time winningest coach in program history with a 154-64-19 record (.689 win percentage). He guided the program to three consecutive ECAC Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournaments from 1979-81, before taking the program to new heights in the early 1980s. In 1982, he led the team to the first of three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and five overall. That squad won 14 games, setting a new program record. The following season his team shattered that mark with a 21-3 record and earned another trip to the NCAA Tournament. The Knights won two games in the post-season before falling to Columbia in the quarterfinals and finishing ranked number six in the nation. In 1984, Stravato’s Knights posted a 19-2-3 record, earned a third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament, advancing to the quarterfinals again and finishing with the program’s highest national ranking ever of number three. During his final two years of 1988 and 1989, he guided the Knights to two more NCAA bids and the program’s first NEC title in 1989.
