Former women's bowling national champion Erica (Perez) Creutz '10 made an immediate impact when she arrived "on the Hackensack" in the fall of 2006. Creutz earned a role in the starting lineup as a freshman – one of just three on Mike LoPresti's side to compete in every event that season – and was selected to the NEWCBC Second Team in 2006-07. The first four-time All-American bowler in program history, Creutz was the 2009-10 Northeast Conference Bowler of the Year, earning the right-handed Carteret, N.J. native a back-to-back slot on the First Team All-NEC. Creutz boasted a conference-high overall frame average in league play her senior season (20.30) and recorded the highest traditional scoring average in the conference, bowling a 207.8, en route to the team's 2010 national championship title. On April 26, 2010, Creutz was featured in the "Faces in the Crowd" section of Sports Illustrated.
