Frank Brennan Hall of Fame Induction Speech - 1/31/20

Frank Brennan earns his induction after a standout two-year career on the mound for the Knights. The right-hander's performance in 1966 is one of the all-time great campaigns posted by a Knight. That season, Brennan punched out a program-record 97 batters across 97.1 innings, while recording a sparkling 1.57 ERA. Brennan's 1966 ERA and innings total both rank second in FDU single-season history.  Across his two seasons, Brennan totaled a miniscule 1.66 ERA over 146 innings of work, while striking out more than a batter per inning. The Connecticut native was named to the Knights 1960s All-Decade Team.
