Brendan Barba is the only Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball player to have ever been selected twice to the ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) All-East Basketball Division I First Team. Barba tallied a total of 686 career points, while averaging 6.2 rebounds per contest. He paced the 1962-63 squad with 13.2 points per game – registering 369 points over 28 games. For his efforts, he garnered First Team Tri-State All-Star and All-Metropolitan First Team All-Star honors while leading FDU to the Tri-State Collegiate Basketball League Championship. The following season, Barba capped a 21-6 three-year stretch for FDU in the Tri-State, leading the 1963-64 team in free throw percentage (.756), shooting (68-for-90), and averaging 12.7 ppg and 6.7 rpg.
