FDU Knights Athletics

In 1974 Ruben Molinares was named to the New Jersey Collegiate All-Star squad after the team earned its number one ranking in the state of New Jersey. After the Knights became the second team in program history to win an NCAA Tournament game, defeating Bucknell, was a First Team All-Metropolitan Intercollegiate Soccer Conference selection. Molinares scored a school record 22 goals that season, a mark that ranks third today.

He followed that season with 21 goals as a senior. Molinares finished his career as Fairleigh Dickinson's all-time leader with 63 goals and 143 points. Both marks rank second all-time today.
