FDU Knights Athletics

Frank Gilabert served as a pitcher and a fielder during his time with FDU from 1958-60. At the plate he posted a career .339 batting average. During his senior season he hit .415, which still ranks among the top-10 all-time single-season performances by a Knight. On the mound, Gilabert was known as "Mr. Reliable", as he posted a record of 8-0 during the 1958 season. He finished his career with a 14-4 record on the mound and an ERA under 3.00.
