FDU Hall of Fame
Ann Gulino served as an athletic administrator at FDU for over 25 years. While overseeing the day-to-day operations of the athletic department, Gulino was responsible for the department's NCAA Compliance in her role of Senior Associate Athletic Director as well as serving as the liaison for the athletic department and with the financial aid, admissions, enrollment services, residence life and campus services offices. Gulino served as the Interim Director of Athletics for the 1997-98 school year, during which the men's basketball team and men's tennis team earned Northeast Conference championships. She again served as the Interim Director of Athletics from 2001-2002, which was when construction was completed on the Fitness Center and ground was broken for the construction of the Softball Field. In 2004, Gulino received the prestigious Pillar of FDU Award, given to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the character and quality of the University, its community and its culture. Gulino also served as a member of various Northeast Conference committees as well as NCAA subcommittees. Gulino left FDU to serve as the Associate Director of Compliance at St. John's University and is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators.
