FDU Hall of Fame
On the pitch, former men's soccer student-athlete Brian Ainscough '87 made two NCAA tournament appearances ('83, '84) in the Burgundy and Blue. He captured the single-season assists record in 1983 with 14 assists, which is still first in program history. Ainscough's 109 career points rank fifth all-time. Scoring 40 goals (sixth at FDU) over his four-year career on the Hackensack, Ainscough also logged 29 assists (third). Going 3-2 in NCAA tournament fixtures played between 1983 and 1984, Ainscough was an All-American in 1986 and was also an All-NEC performer following his senior campaign.
