Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer standout Rachel Hoekstra was named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week on Monday and the BigAppleSoccer.com Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Hoekstra earned her second NEC Player of the Week award by recording a hat trick during regulation of Thursday evening's (Sept. 25) thrilling 4-3 overtime victory at Hartford. Her night included an 88th-minute equalizer that allowed FDU to force extra time. The redshirt sophomore's 17 career goals put her in sole possession of fourth place in program history and eight this season have her one off her own program record-tying mark set during her 2012 NEC Rookie of the Year campaign.
