Junior goalkeeper Jacob Lissek has had a week to remember after being named MVP of the Northeast Conference Men's Soccer Tournament and picking up his 21st career shutout in FDU's 1-0 victory over St. John's in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.

Lissek was named MVP after his performance in the two shootouts the Knghts' needed in the semfinals and finals to claim the NEC title, which both came after 1-1 draws. Against St. John's, Lissek made four huge saves, including three where he had to make diving attempts to preserve his 10th shutout of the season and help lead FDU to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament against Saint Louis.
