Junior goalkeeper Lissek was named Northeast Conference Player of the Week after allowing just one goal in 200 minutes worth of action as the Knights posted a 1-0-1 record this past weekend, drawing even with defending champion Monmouth, 0-0, before downing Mount St. Mary's by a 2-1 count. Lissek accumulated 10 saves in the two games, including seven against the Hawks.
In a rematch of last year's NEC title game, Lissek played lights out by stopping three shots in each half and making a game-saving stop on an MU player with less than 80 ticks to play in regulation. He then wrapped up his seven-save outing with one in the second overtime session.
Following a day off, the Highlands Park, Colo. native earned the win over Mount St. Mary's, 2-1, with three more stops, including one on a breakaway in the 57th minute and another with just under a few minutes to play. Lissek is 5-2-2 overall, 2-0-1 in conference play, with a 1.48 goals against average and a .725 save percentage.
