BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – After an outstanding two-way performance in a win over Austin Peay,
Brielle McInaw was appropriately tabbed as both the NEC Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week. This marks her first Player of the Week honor, while she has earned the defensive crown once before in her career.
McInaw struck for four goals and one assist in FDU's lone contest this week. The senior attacker helped FDU stay on track as she scored their first three goals in the 11-6 victory. However, McInaw's impact did not stop there. She caused four turnovers, picked up three ground balls, and won two ground controls.
McInaw now sits at nine goals on the season and is second on the team with 12 points. She is tied for the conference lead with nine turnovers.
FDU is back in action tomorrow, March 10, at 11 a.m. The Knights will host Presbyterian in Teaneck.
