BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – FDU women's lacrosse took home two weekly awards on Monday afternoon following their win 12-11 win over La Salle.
Karly Dillabough was named the NEC Player of the Week and
Brielle McInaw claimed NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Dillabough is the first player in program history to be named the NEC Player of the Week. The sophomore attacker exploded for five goals and two assists in the Knights' win on Saturday. Five goals match a career-high for the Syracuse, N.Y. native, while seven points are the most she has recorded in a single-game.
On the young season Dillabough is leading FDU with seven goals and nine total points. She also currently paces the NEC in both categories.
McInaw was a huge disruptor in her team's first victory of 2025. On Saturday, McInaw caused three turnovers, collected three ground balls and won seven draw controls. To top it off, the junior also recorded a hat-trick.
McInaw has caused five turnovers on the season. She is currently second in the league in draw controls per game. She is also the first player in program history to win NEC Defensive Player of the Week.
The Knights are set for their home opener this Wednesday, February 19, against Manhattan. First draw control is set for 2 p.m.
