FDU Lacrosse is Ready to Make a Name for Themselves in Their inaugural Season

Teaneck, N.J.- The FDU women's lacrosse team is poised to make a splash in its inaugural season, and there's a lot to be excited about as FDU fields its 22nd sports program.

Roster

The roster for the team is full of 13 freshmen who are excited to showcase their talent on the Division I stage. With such a young roster there will be a few bumps in the road but Coach Jessica Pandolf and the team are ready to learn from their experiences and improve with each game. The roster also includes three upperclassmen: Katie Leckonby, Paula Ruess and Saige-Lyn Gidzinski who are ready to lead the team by example and create a positive environment.

Offensive Outlook

Offensively, the team has a load of talent. It's too early to predict who will be the leading goal scorer, but Coach Pandolf is confident in the team's ability to work together and support each other. Veteran attacker Saige Gidzinski, a transfer from Stetson University, has already proven to be an invaluable asset to the team, Coach Pandolf stated, "I know Saige will do great things in her final campaign and she will forever leave a mark on FDU Lacrosse."

Defensive Identity

The team boasts two talented freshmen goalies who will be splitting time this season. Coach Pandolf is thrilled with both Skylar Goodman and Jewel Horsmon and their unique styles. The success of the team will rely heavily on the performance of the goalies who will gain tremendous experience in their first campaign.

Overall, the FDU women's lacrosse team is a tight-knit group of players who are excited to show what they can achieve on the field. Coach Pandolf is focused on building a strong foundation for the team's future success and is confident that her players have the talent and drive to make a name for themselves this season. With a positive attitude and a willingness to fight till the last whistle, the FDU women's lacrosse team is ready to take on whatever challenges come their way.
