HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson volleyball team is set to host the Knights Fall Classic presented by Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Paramus on Friday and Saturday, September 6-7. The Burgundy and Blue welcome Morgan State, NJIT and Quinnipiac to the Rothman Center for two days of matches.

Knights Notes
After opening the season last weekend at the NIU Invitational in Dekalb, Illinois, the Knights return to Hackensack for their 2019 home opener this weekend. The Burgundy and Blue are seeking their first win of the campaign after falling to Northern Illinois (3-1), UC Riverside (3-1) and SIU-Edwardsville (3-0) last weekend.
Freshman outside hitter
Mujay Mambu recorded 2.36 kills per set last weekend in Illinois and earned All-Tournament Team honors. The Chantilly, Virginia native recorded 11 kills in her collegiate debut last Friday against the host Huskies. Junior outside hitter
Magdalena Maksimovic enters the Knights Fall Classic as the team's top hitter, racking up 2.70 kills per across the team's first three matches.
Junior setter
McKenna Setterlund doled out 62 assists across the three matches last weekend and now has 726 career assists to her credit. Defensively, sophomore
Brooke Stevens, who led the Knights in total blocks a season ago, is back atop the team leaderboard this season with seven blocks, while sophomore libero
Jaelyn Young leads the backline with 3.27 digs per set.
Poster Day
Saturday is Poster Day at the Rothman Center. All fans in attendance will receive a 2019 FDU Volleyball Schedule Poster. At the conclusion of the team's 12:30 p.m. match against Quinnipiac, the Knights will meet and greet fans for a poster signing session.
