BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – FDU women's soccer is in the midst of a four-match winning streak, and they just picked up their third consecutive NEC weekly award. Junior
Ana Salas recorded four points for the Knights and was named the NEC Co-Player of the Week.
FDU ended a four match homestand with a win over Stonehill on Thursday and then traveled to takedown Le Moyne on Sunday afternoon. Salas contributed a goal and assist in their 3-2 win over the Skyhawks. She went onto record an assist in a 3-0 shutout victory over the Dolphins.
Salas' totals for the season now sit at two goals, five assists, and nine points. She has logged points in each NEC match. She ranks in the league's top ten in both assists and points.
The Knights are back on the road next Sunday, October 5, at Mercyhurst. The match is scheduled for a 3 p.m. kickoff.
