BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – The Northeast Conference announced its 2025 Women's Lacrosse all-NEC teams on Wednesday afternoon, with FDU earning the most All-NEC selections in program history following its most successful season to date.
For the first time in program history, FDU had a player named to the All-NEC First Team, as junior Brielle McInaw earned the notable distinction. She was joined by sophomore Nora Codianni, who was named to the All-NEC Second Team. Additionally, freshman Adriana Mavlios capped an impressive debut season with a spot on the NEC All-Rookie Team. These honors reflect the continued growth of FDU women's lacrosse, which just wrapped its third season of play.
McInaw continued to set the bar for FDU in 2025 as the program's all-time leading goal scorer. Her 32 goals this season stand as the most in program history and were the sixth most in the NEC. McInaw was held out of the scoring column in just two games this season and finished the year on a nine-game goal streak. The attacker recorded six hat-tricks. This brought the Pennsylvania natives' career goal total to 81. McInaw also set a program record with 66 draw controls, which was fifth most in the conference.
In 2024 Nora Codianni was named to the NEC All-Rookie Team. FDU's disruptive midfielder followed this up with a strong sophomore campaign. Defensively, Codianni's presence impacted opposing offenses all season long. She set an FDU record with 22 caused turnovers and ranked in the top five in the NEC in this category. The Long Beach, N.Y. native led all Knights' field players with 27 ground balls. On the attacking end Codianni proved herself as a scoring threat. She posted eight multi-goal games for a total of 23 goals, a 14-goal improvement from her freshman season.
Adriana Mavlios' playmaking added another dimension to FDU's offense in 2025. The rookie posted 23 goals and 15 assists for a total of 38 points. Her 38 points set a new freshmen record in Teaneck, while her 15 assists tie the program record for a single season. The New York native recorded a point in all but one contest and finished the year on a 13-game point streak. Mavlios' points came in bunches too as she tallied 12 multi-point games. Perhaps her most impressive performance came in FDU's win over Howard when she struck for two goals and four assists.
