TEANECK, N.J.- FDU fell by a score of 12-6 against Merrimack under rainy skies at University Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Warriors scored the first seven goals in what would prove to be their first win of the season as they improve to 1-5, 1-0. The Knights fall to 0-2 in NEC play and 0-7 overall.
The Warriors were able to hold the Knights off the board for nearly the entire first half in the midst of building a 7-0 lead. 
Karly Dillabough gave FDU some life finally finding the back of the net in the final seconds of the second period. It's the freshman's fifth goal of her rookie campaign and her second in as many games.
That goal seemingly gave FDU momentum as they scored five-straight in the third quarter for a total of six unanswered goals. 
Riley Eaton scored two of these goals for her team leading 10
th and 11
th goals of the season. 
Jordan Santana (8), 
Nora Codianni (7), and 
Brielle McInaw tallied the others.
Merrimack would go onto to hold the Knights scoreless the rest of the way and secure a 12-6 win.
Along with her two goals, Eaton distributed two assists. 
Julia Corry also got in the box score with two dimes.
The Knights out controlled the Warriors 14-7 on draws with McInaw winning nine of them. The Warriors made up for this by forcing FDU into 23 turnovers while only turning it over 14 times themselves.
Skylar Goodman faced 22 shots and made ten saves.

The Knights will go on "spring break" next week down in Virginia when they take on Radford. The game is set for Tuesday, March 12 at 3 p.m.
