WEST POINT, N.Y. - Two Knights notched personal bests on Saturday as FDU competed at the West Point Open in their first appearance of the new year.
How it happened:

Freshman Malik Ricketts took home a bronze medal in the 500 meter race, notching a personal best time of 1:04.79.

With a personal-best 6.45 mark, graduate student Sean Mefford landed the second-place spot in the long jump competition.Â

Senior Ben Clay and junior Tahj Mullings secured the fourth and sixth spots in the weight throw event with marks of 17.45 meters and 15.49 meters, respectively.

Junior Conroy Ellis placed fifth in the 800 meter race.
