HACKENSACK, N.J. - FDU men's volleyball has announced a schedule change that will see the Knights head to Austin, Texas for the First Point Volleyball Collegiate Challenge presented by Ogio from February 4-5. The event features three other schools including top-ranked Hawai'i (4-2), two-time national champion Stanford (5-2) and Queens (N.C.) (4-3). The Austin Convention Center will play host to the five matches over two days. This is the first time collegiate men's volleyball will be played in the state of Texas.

Karl France gave his reaction to joining the event, "This will be an experience that these Knights will never forget. Our team is grateful for the opportunity to be in the First Point Collegiate Challenge."
FDU will play two matches on Friday, February 4. The first match is against the AVCA ranked No. 1 Hawai'i at 12:30 pm followed by playing AVCA ranked No. 14 Stanford at 5:30 pm. On Saturday the Burgundy and Blue will play their final match against Queens (N.C.) at 4:00 pm. This will be the second opportunity to play Queens (N.C.) as the the teams were scheduled to face off at the Harvard Invitational but due to Covid-19 could not compete.

First Point Volleyball Foundation has been instrumental in the launching of the FDU men's volleyball program by providing a $200,000 grant over four years to support the program. In addition to the First Point Volleyball Foundation, founder and executive director of Austin Junior Volleyball, Glen Lietzke, helped bring the event to fruition.
