BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- Jamal Ellis was named NEC Men's Volleyball Co-Player of the Week per an NEC release. This marks Ellis' third Palyer of the Week award, and his first time sharing the award. The award comes after a weekend where the Knights split their two games with UMES. Ellis helped the Knights secure their 13th win of the season, a program record.
The opposite hitter dealt 37 kills, with a 23 kill outing on April 11. Over the weekend, Ellis boasted two service aces each outing, and combined for 43.5 points through both games. His efforts helped the Knights clinch a spot in the NEC Tournament for the third straight season.
The Knights take on SFU this weekend, with the first matchup on April 17, at 6 p.m.
