STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Salif Mane shattered the FDU indoor triple jump school record as several Knights posted top finishes at the NYC Gotham Cup at Ocean Breeze Complex on Friday.

How it Happened

• Salif Mane secured the indoor triple jump record to take first place with a 16.06m mark, 1.24 meters further than the second-place finish. Mane also set a personal record in the long jump with a 7.41m mark. Mane currently holds the third best mark in the country for triple jump and ranks in the top 50 for long jump in the NCAA.
• The men's 4x400 relay team consisting of Duran Crooks, Kenroy Ellis, Shevan Parks and Sandley Elysee notched a first place finish with a 3:19.46 time.
• Ben Clay III notched a second-place finish in the shot put with a 16.08m throw, surpassing the bronze medalist by 1.63 meters.
• Tahj Mullings clipped a personal record in the weight throw with a 17.46m mark, giving him a third place finish.
• With a 1:58.34 time, Conroy Ellis finished third in the men's 800m.
• Taeco O'Garro finished fifth in the long jump with a 7.16m mark.
