HACKENSACK, N.J. - Fairleigh Dickinson Director of Athletics
Bradford Hurlbut announced Wednesday a change in leadership for the women's volleyball program.
FDU men's volleyball head coach
Karl France will serve as the program's interim head coach.
Hurlbut said, "I am thrilled to announce that
Karl France has agreed to be our interim women's volleyball coach for the 2021 season. He stepped forward immediately to offer his assistance upon learning of the untimely departure of our former head coach. Under Karl's leadership, I have no doubt that this special group of student-athletes will have a very successful season on the court and continue to excel in the classroom. The future of FDU women's volleyball continues to be bright and on the rise."
A national search will follow after the conclusion of the 2021 season.
The Knights will begin the 2021 season at home hosting the FDU Tournament
presented by Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Paramus on August 27 with their first match coming against Manhattan at 6:30 PM live on NEC Front Row.
