DAYTON, Ohio -- The title run at the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Singles Championships ended in the semifinals for recent Fairleigh Dickinson graduate
Karsyn Lukosius, who fell in her semifinal match to Vanderbilt's Jordan Newham.
Lukosius was one of four women's bowlers remaining from a national field competing for the 2019 ISC title. The event started out with Lukosius competing alongside FDU sophomores
Amanda Chrzanowski and
Aimee Sherman, but it was Lukosius who earned a
berth into the Final Four for the Knights, becoming the first Knight to reach the ISC semifinals since Morgan Brown back in 2016.
The match score for Lukosius, who finished in the
top eight among 24 qualifiers in the field on Tuesday, against Newham was 214-183.
Lukosius' match will be aired on tape delay for fans to view on CBS Sports Network on Tuesday, April 23, at 8:30 p.m.
Breanna Clemmer from McKendree later defeated Newham in the ISC title match, 226-194.
