BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – Three FDU women's bowlers were recognized in the release of the All-NEC teams and major awards on Thursday afternoon.
Emily Fogarty and
Jadeyn Mabry landed on the All-Conference Second Team, while
Kayleigh Germadnig earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team.
Fogarty ends her career at FDU with her first-ever All-NEC honor. She picked up a Bowler of the Week Award and two All-Tournament Team selections this season. Fogarty led all FDU bowlers in fill rate in the traditional format and had the most baker strikes on the team. Across all formats, Fogarty had a straight average of 19.47 pins per frame.
The sophomore Mabry now has two All-NEC Second Team honors in her two seasons of collegiate bowling. Mabry led the team in total frames bowled and averaged a team-best 19.59 pins per frame. She served as the Knights' anchor throughout the course of the season. That positioning paid off as Mabry filled 84.6% of her baker frames.
Germadnig gained plenty of experience this season as she bowled 778 frames. A majority of these came in the Baker format. In baker action, she filled 76.5% of her frames and averaged 18.27 pins per frame. She bowled the fourth-most baker strikes on the team with 216.
