HIGH POINT, N.C. –
Kazeem Otun and
Mark Ramsey both record third-place finishes for the Fairleigh Dickinson men's track and field team on the final day of the Bob Davidson Spring Kick Off at High Point University.
Otun finished in third in the 800m after crossing the line in 1:53.35. The time is faster than all three times the senior ran the 800m indoors this season.
Ramsey, who finished second in the shot put on Friday, was third in the discus with a mark of 49.67m. The mark is the second-best of his career. Ramsey was half a meter from second place Corey Murphy of Monmouth.
Joining Otun in the 800m was
Javuan Grant, who finished in 30th (2:03.84) and
Shaquan Williams (2:07.87).
In the hammer the Knights got ninth-place finish from
Nicholas Todaro after throwing 52.68m. Todaro missed scoring a point by less than 0.20 of a meter.
Rashaun Graves finished in 13th with a mark of 47.54m.
The Knights head back down south next weekend for the Adidas Winthrop Invitational in Rock Hill, South Carolina on Friday and Saturday.
