The Fairleigh Dickinson women's cross country team competed at the CCSU Ted Owen Invitational at Stanley Quarter Park on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The Knights were led by junior
Skye Tiller (Woodbury, N.J./Woodbury), who finished the 5K race with a time of 21:28.94.
Freshman
Ariela Sutherland (Queens, N.Y.) was the next FDU finisher, completing the course with a time of 21:42.26. Junior
Mildred Sam-Otuh (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) and sophomore
Caitlin Boyles (Upper Marlboro, Md./Largo) would be the next two finishers for the Knights with times of 22:11.29 and 22:24.25, respectively. Junior
Kenesha Brown (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) would finish the course with a time of 22:57.11, while sophomore
Jhanee Sterrett (Queens, N.Y./Boys and Girls ) would finish with a time of 23:03.26.
The Knights will have two weeks to get ready for their next competition. On Friday Oct. 10, FDU will return to action at the Metropolitan Championships, hosted by Fordham, in the Bronx, N.Y. at Van Cortland Park.Â
