TEANECK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer team (14-4-1) will take on #3 seed Central Connecticut State (10-5-4) on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 9, with the Northeast Conference championship on the line. FDU defeated Saint Francis, 4-1, on Friday afternoon, while the Blue Devils won in double overtime, 2-1, to eliminate Wagner. NEC Front Row will have live video coverage of Sunday's final.

Last Time Out
On Friday, the Knights defeated the reigning NEC champs, Saint Francis U, for the second time in six days. Junior co-captain Katey Arathoon (Pickering, Ontario/St. Mary's ) got the scoring started just before halftime when her volleyed cross caromed in off the right post. In the 69th minute, junior Esther Rochon (Saint Romuald, Quebec/College Francois-Xavier-Garneau) found space in the box directly in front of goal and directed a Kasey Schiavoni (West Chester, Pa./Villa Maria Academy) corner in for the eventual match winner. SFU would pull one back just three minutes later when Mackenzie Walter converted her penalty kick. Following a tense 15 minutes, Connie Lewis (Outer Cove, Newfoundland/Gonzaga ) scored her second goal in six days when she tapped home a shot from Carly Tice (Highland Falls, N.Y./James I. O'Neill ) that rattled the crossbar.
