BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – FDU's Rosemarie Leblanc was named the NEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Leblanc made 17 saves across two matches, including a career high 13 at Maryland.

While Leblanc's 13-save night against Maryland came in a narrow defeat, she played a key role in FDU's scoreless draw at Penn. Leblanc kept her first clean sheet of the season as she made four crucial saves to preserve a result for FDU.

Leblanc now has 15 shutouts in her career at FDU. This is her second NEC Defensive Player of the Week honor.

The Knights begin their home campaign this Thursday, August 27, at 6 p.m. against Stony Brook.
