THE BRONX, N.Y.  --  Freshman Ariela Sutherland (Queens, N.Y./Health Professions and Human Services) would pace the Fairleigh Dickinson women's cross country teams 10th place finish at Friday's Metropolitan Championships at Van Cortland Park. Sutherland completed the 5K course in 21:00.77.

Sophomore Caitlin Boyles (Upper Marlboro, Md./Largo) and junior Mildred Sam-Otuh (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) would be the next finishers with back-to-back times of 22:44.35 and 22:44.76, respectively. Junior Skye Tiller (Woodbury, N.J./Woodbury) was the next runner to finish with a time of 23:22.92. Rounding up the runners was junior Kenesha Brown (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) who finished the course with a time of 24:10.45.

The Knights will return to action on Saturday Oct. 18, at the Princeton Invitational, hosted by Princeton, in Princeton N.J. at West Windsor Fields.
