The Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer team completed its 2010 season on Sunday with a 6-0 loss at Quinnipiac. The home team scored five first-half goals. With the victory, the Bobcats finish their season with a record of 7-7-3 (5-2-3 NEC), while the Knights conclude their 2010 campaign with a record of 2-16-0 (2-8 NEC).
Despite being outscored in the game, the Knights were able to tie the Bobcats in shots with 14, including six on goal. Seniors Lisa-Marie Curti (Richmond Hill, Ontario/St. Theresa of Lisieux) and Cindy Calderon (Oakland, NJ/Indian Hills) each had two shots on goal for the Knights, while senior Katie Hilder (Caringbah, Sydney, Australia/Woolooware) and junior Rashidah Sherman (Pelham Manor, NY/Pelham Memorial) each had a shot on goal.
Junior Stephanie Tanzi (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown West) made five saves in net for the Knights.
The Knights only lose three players from this year's team for the 2011 season.
