Women's Soccer Loses, 2-0, at Quinnipiac

The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's soccer team fell, 2-0, to home-standing Quinnipiac University, Tuesday, Oct. 24 in Hamden, CT. The Knights (3-11-1, 2-5 NEC) limited the Bobcats (9-5-2, 3-3 NEC) to seven shots on goal, however, QU forward Susan Donovan tallied two goals on four shots.

 

Freshman midfielder Amanda Davis (/St. Mark's) (Middletown, DE) fired five shots ? three on net ? to pace the FDU offense. Sophomore midfielder Alex White (/Lynnfield) (Lynnfield, MA) logged four attempts. Senior goalkeeper Kyla Clark (/Notre Dame/Univ. of Texas - El Paso) (Ottawa, Ontario) made four stops in a losing effort.

 

“We were out-worked today,” Head Coach Renee Montana said. “We never gave ourselves a chance.”

 

The Knights host Robert Morris at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Oct. 27 at University Field.
