BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- Candela Espana earns her second consecutive NEC Rookie of the week award. Her award comes on the heels of a positive week for the Knights, after they played Loyola to a scoreless draw and secured a 2-1 win over Hofstra to conclude their non-conference schedule. 

The Midfielder landed her conference-leading second game winning goal in the victory, lifting the Knights to their second win of the season. Espana's pair of shots were both on target in the contest. She additionally took four shots at Loyola, with two of them being on target. She is joined as a Prime Performer by Marina Burzaco and Rosemarie Leblanc

Espana and the Knights return to action on Thursday, hosting their conference opener versus Le Moyne at 6 p.m.
