HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU's Head Women's Bowling Coach K.J. Martinez was selected to serve as the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Vice President for the 2026-27 season.

Martinez is entering his fourth season in charge of the Knights, after he spent two years as a graduate assistant with former head coach Mike LoPresti. FDU has accumulated 184 victories under Martinez, including an NEC Championship and NCAA tournament appearance in 2025.

The NTCA President is Niagara head coach Jeff Walsh. The Purple Eagles compete in the NEC as an associate member for women's bowling.
