DES PLAINES, Ill. – FDU women's bowling finished in second place at the Windy City Classic hosted by Le Moyne this weekend. The Knights posted nine wins, and just four losses, improving their 2026-27 record to 20-11.
FDU welcomed the return of
Jadeyn Mabry this weekend as the junior made her season debut. She averaged 192 pins in the traditional round, which placed her fourth in the field. This was good enough to earn Mabry All-Tournament honors.
The Knights began the weekend with six straight wins, including five victories on the first day of competition. After dropping three straight matches on day two, the Knights went into the final match of the day trying to solidify their place heading into Sunday. FDU did just that by knocking down 946 pins in an 118-pin victory over Western Illinois.
FDU opened Sunday with convincing best-of-seven wins over McKendree and Thomas More. However, McKendree bested the Knights by a score of 4-3 in the championship round.
