HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU women's basketball has been ranked in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll for the first time in the 2025-26 season. The Knights come in at the No. 25 spot in the poll. The full poll can be found here.

FDU makes their first return to the Mid-Major Top 25 since the conclusion of the 2024-25 season, where they finished as the No. 15 team in the poll.

The Knights storm into the poll this week as they wrap up a dominant stretch of basketball in the NEC. The Knights have worked to a 17-0 record in conference play thus far, with one game remaining in the regular season. The Knights have won 36-straight NEC regular season contests, shattering the previous league record of 34. FDU has also clinched the 2025-26 NEC Regular Season Championship, and the #1 seed in the 2026 NEC tournament.

FDU boasts one of the toughest defenses in the nation, holding the number three scoring defense across all of Division I. The Knights allow their opponents to score just 51.4 PPG. Only UConn and Quinnipiac hold opponents to a lower total.

The Knights will wrap up their regular season on Thursday, March 5 against Saint Francis. Tip-off will come at 11 a.m. as the Knights celebrate Kids Day in Hackensack. FDU will then host #8 Saint Francis in the 2026 NEC Quarterfinals on Monday, March 9.
