HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU women's basketball (25-4, 16-0) plays host to LIU (18-9, 13-3) on Saturday afternoon in a conference clash. The Knights will celebrate Senior Day, honoring Madlena Gerke in a pre-game ceremony.

LAST TIME OUT

• The Knights are coming off a 66-38 win over Le Moyne on Thursday, February 28.
• FDU made history with their victory over the Dolphins, winning their 35th straight regular season NEC contest, a new conference record.
• The win also clinched sole possession of the 2025-26 NEC Regular Season Championship for FDU for the second straight year.
• Madlena Gerke led the charge in the win over Le Moyne, scoring 14 points on four three-pointers. Gerke enters her Senior Day with 16.7 PPG in the month of February.

LAST TIME AGAINST LIU

• The Knights and Shark re-match after a thriller on January 17, 2026.
• FDU emerged victorious in Brooklyn by a score of 59-58 after Ava Renninger scored a game-winning lay-up with seven seconds left in regulation.
• The one-point victory is the closest margin of victory for FDU during their 35-game NEC win streak.
• Renninger scored 15 points in that victory, along with seven rebounds and five assists.
• Kadidia Toure showed out for LIU in the contest, scoring a game-high 22 points.

SCOUTING THE SHARKS

• LIU sits right behind the Knights in the NEC standings with an impressive 13-3 record in NEC play.
• Kadidia Toure leads both the Sharks and the NEC with 19.0 PPG on the season, as well as 10.2 RPG.
• The Sharks are coming off a 83-68 victory at Chicago State in their last time out.
• Neil Harrow leads LIU in his first season at the helm.
