HACKENSACK, N.J. – An NEC champion will be crowned on Sunday afternoon in the Bogota Savings Bank Center. #1 FDU hosts #3 LIU in the 2026 NEC Championship at noon.
FDU will look to defend their crown and repeat as NEC champions.

• FDU is coming off of a 71-51 win over #5 Le Moyne in the NEC Semifinals on Thursday night.
• Ava Renninger led the way in the win for FDU, scoring 21 points and recording her first career double-double with ten rebounds.

• Rebecca Osei-Owusu played a big role, scoring 12 points and grabbing eight rebounds.

RECENT HISTORY

• FDU went 2-0 against LIU during the regular season.
• The Knights won the first meeting by a score of 59-58 on January 17. Ava Renninger hit a game-winning shot with seven seconds left to give the Knights the lead.
• FDU also defeated LIU in Hackensack by a score of 82-49 on February 28. Kailee McDonald scored 18 points in the win.

• LIU entered the post-season as the #3 seed in the NEC tournament, following a 14-4 NEC campaign.
