HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU women's basketball released its 2026-27 schedule, featuring an exciting non-conference slate and 16 NEC matchups.
The Knights enter the season looking to build on back-to-back NEC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances. FDU finished the 2025-26 campaign 30-5 and went a perfect 18-0 in NEC conference play for the second consecutive season, becoming the first team in NEC history to accomplish the feat twice. The season also culminated in FDU's second consecutive trip to March Madness, where the #15-seeded Knights faced #2 Iowa in the first round.
The Knights will open the regular season with a two-game trip to Texas, facing Baylor on November 2 before taking on Texas on November 4. The Knights will make their home debut on November 9 against East Stroudsburg before hosting Manhattan on November 12. The Knights will then face Ohio State on November 15 before returning to Hackensack to host Rider on November 17. FDU will close the stretch with a trip to Louisiana, as they face LSU on November 19.
FDU will continue its non-conference schedule with matchups against Saint Peter's, Monmouth, Lafayette, Delaware State and NJIT before hosting the FDU Holiday Tournament on December 19-20. La Salle, UC San Diego and Youngstown State will join the Knights in Hackensack for the two-day tournament, with FDU facing Youngstown State on the opening day. FDU will close non-conference play against Bloomfield College on December 29.
The Knights will open NEC play on January 6 at Chicago State before hosting LIU on January 9 for their conference home opener. FDU will also host New Haven, Central Connecticut State, Stonehill, Chicago State, Wagner, Mercyhurst and Le Moyne throughout the conference slate.
The regular season will conclude on March 4, when the Knights travel to face Stonehill.
