HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU women's basketball officially announced the addition of ten new players to their 2026-27 roster. The back-to-back NEC Champions have reloaded under head coach Stephanie Gaitley with six incoming freshmen and four transfers.
"I want to thank our staff for their incredible efforts around the clock to bring in such a talented group," said Gaitley. "I feel we met all our needs regarding specific positions as well as outstanding 'culture' kids. We return a talented group, and together with the new players I anticipate us being an exciting team to watch!"
The Knights will be looking to build off the incredible momentum the women's basketball program has built over the last two seasons. This group marks Gaitley's fourth team in Hackensack. FDU will be tested early with matchups against high-major opponents such as Baylor, Texas, Ohio State and LSU.
Of the four incoming transfers, FDU is bringing in three players with multiple years of eligibility remaining. This group also includes three players with NCAA experience, and one who played at one of the premier JUCOs on the West Coast.
