BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – FDU women's basketball freshman forward Leah Crosby was named the Influxer/NEC Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon, per a conference release. It is the third time that Crosby has been named the Rookie of the Week during the 2025-26 season.

Crosby picks up the honor following a week in which she helped the Knights go 2-0, leading them to a league-best 12-0 record in NEC play. The freshman averaged 11.0 PPG, 7.5 RPG, and 2.0 BPG during the Knights' undefeated week.

The freshman's week was highlighted by a monster double-double in the Knights' home victory over Mercyhurst on February 7. Crosby led the Knights with a career-high 17 points. She also tied a career-high by grabbing 11 rebounds for the third double-double of her career. 

The Plainfield, N.J. native currently averages 7.6 PPG and 5.9 RPG for the Knights during her rookie campaign. Her 5.9 RPG lead all NEC rookies, and rank ninth in the conference overall.

Crosby and the Knights return to action on Saturday, February 14 when they face CCSU. Tip-off in New Britain, Conn. will come at 1 p.m, with coverage available on the YES Network and NESN Nation.
