SAN DIEGO, Cali. – The FDU (0-3, 0-0) women's lacrosse finished off their West Coast swing with a game against the Oregon Ducks. It was the first time the Knights had taken on a P4 opponent. FDU fell 16-5 in the contest.
Five different FDU players combined for their five goals.
Mia Devino and
Ella Grotto recorded their first-career goals.
Karly Dillabough,
Riley Eaton and
Jenny Spencer logged the others.
FDU scored just one goal in the first half but were able to crack the scoring column four times in the second half.
On the defensive side,
Nora Codianni, Abbey McDonald, and
Kendal Hippert all caused two turnovers. Hippert added three ground balls.
Riley Schildt made ten saves in her first career start in net.
FDU will take on Manhattan in New York this Wednesday, February 18, at 1 p.m.
