BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- Ana Salas has been named NEC Player of the Week after a spectacular performance in FDU's 8-0 win against Delaware State. Salas recorded the first hat trick of her FDU career. This is Salas' second NEC honor of her 2026 campaign so far.

The three goals moved Salas to third in the conference for goals with six. This high-scoring affair also now makes the NEC points leaderboard a 1-2 punch for FDU, with Salas climbing the ranks to second, just three points behind her fellow Spanish captain Marina Burzaco.

The Knights will look to continue their stellar form this Thursday, October 15, in a heavyweight NEC matchup against Wagner. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m. in Teaneck, New Jersey, at Macron Stadium.
