PISCATAWAY, N.J. – FDU men's and women's track and field competed in the Rutgers Relays on Saturday. The Knights had another stellar day during their outdoor season.
The meet was highlighted by FDU's star thrower
Nilaja Wiltshire. Wiltshire tied the top distance in the women's shot put with a mark of 15.51m. That distance also shattered the FDU program record for women's shot put. Wiltshire also placed third in the hammer throw with a distance of 49.08m, and seventh in the discus throw with a distance of 38.08m.
Several other Knights had top performances in the meet:
- Xavier Hayletts won the men's 100 meter dash with a time of 10.53.
- Hayletts also finished third in the men's 200 meter dash with a time of 22.31.
- The men's 4x400m relay won their event, posting a time of 3:29.06.
- Duane Kizer finished fourth in the men's 110mH with a time of 14.47.
- Saniyah Miles finished third in the women's 100mH with a time of 14.53.
- Joshua Gresham finished third in the men's 400 meter dash with a time of 49.24.
- Chase Lopez finished second in the men's 800m with a time of 1:55.38.
- Liam Schwabik finished fourth in the men's 800m with a time of 1:56.46
- Dean Joseph finished third in the men's 400mH with a time of 56.30.
- Ella Johnson finished third in the women's javelin throw, posting a distance of 33.36m.
- Jashad Kersey finished third in the men's triple jump with a distance of 14.43m.
- Jade Cruz finished fourth in the women's triple jump with a distance of 11.95m.
