HACKENSACK, N.J.- While FDU women's lacrosse is set to begin their fourth season this spring, there will be some firsts for the program coming in 2026. The Knights announced today that they will make an unprecedented trip to San Diego to face San Diego State and Oregon.
This trip serves as a culmination of the team's first four years, as the women's lacrosse program at FDU continues to grow and develop. It will be the first time the Knights compete in a different time zone, and the first time they take on high-major opponents.
Waiting for the Knights in California when they first arrive will be the San Diego State Aztecs on February 12 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. After a day of rest, the Knights take on the Oregon Ducks Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT. Both games will be played at SDSU on Aztec field.
"We're excited to head to California and face such strong competition," head coach Jessica Pandolf said. "With our first senior class leading the way, this trip marks a milestone for our young program and a chance to showcase how far we've come."
The remainder of the Knights schedule will be released in early November.
